Veteran's History Project

Mr. Michael Russell, a teacher in Bridgewater, New Jersey, is trying to locate Vietnam Veteran's who are willing to share their military experiences with students.  He invites any and all Vietnam Veterans to contact him to make arrangements for a visit to his classroom where the veterans will be able to talk to Mr. Russell's students.  The Veteran will also be able to submit their oral history to Mr. Russell's oral history project.  If you are interested, please contact Mr. Russell at the following:

MISSION STATEMENT OF THE VETERAN'S HISTORY PROJECT

The mission of the Veteran's History Project is
to collect and preserve
first-hand accounts of wartime veterans,
including oral histories,
interviews, memoirs, photographs, letters,
diaries, and other historical
documents from World War I through the current
conflicts, to honor their service
and to educate current and future
generations.

The Veteran's History Project also collects
first-hand accounts and
historical documents of US civilians who were
actively involved in
supporting our war efforts, including USO,
Red Cross, and war industry
workers.

Stories from the following eras are our
priority and will be archived
first:

World War I (1914 - 1920)
World War II (1939 - 1946)
Korean War (1950 - 1955)
Vietnam War (1961 - 1975)
Persian Gulf War (1990 - 1995)
Afghanistan and Iraq Wars (2001 - Present)

            Served for 6 years in the Army Reserves and Army National Guard
