Open letter to all VVA and AVVA members:
We need 15 minutes of your time to help the VVA. One of our
potential advertisers asked if we had any current information on
what kind of products our members own and are we really patriotic or
is that just Veteran hype? The truth is we don’t know and that’s why
we need your help.
If you are in a market that has lost your local newspaper
recently or if you follow the media (Readers Digest which sold for
several Billion dollars a few years ago, filed for bankruptcy last
month) you know it is not a good time for publishing. We continue to
publish the Veteran and overall we have been doing okay. But, we can
do better and this survey will help us pursue advertisers that we
have never had and at prices that are much higher than what we are
currently getting.
Yes, this is a marketing survey and once the idea got started we
sent it to the Membership committee to see if they would like to
join in. They did and we have added their questions to the survey.
So, you will be helping both Public Affairs and the Membership
committees to serve you better.
No personal information will be collected about you. This is a
blind study, which means we will take all of the information and
combine it into one big profile. Then we will be able to present a
true picture of our membership to potential advertisers.
We need you to do TWO things: complete the survey yourself and
forward the survey link to your VVA and AVVA member emails. We do
not want you to answer the survey more than once, but we would
rather you get this request 5 times than not at all. Please click on
the link below and complete the survey on line:

Thanks for your time and consideration. I have personally
completed the survey and the company that is compiling the
information is owned by a fellow Vietnam Veteran (door gunner) and
is one of my business teaming partners. We have a signed
confidentially agreement in place. The National VVA officers have
reviewed this study and both committees have approved its release.
